CATHEDRAL CONNECTIONS: A rich history of outreach and community service continues to flourish at Philadelphia Cathedral. A ministry of love and service that transforms lives!
Over the years, Philadelphia Cathedral’s social vision and commitment to serve those in need has been reflected through the ongoing participation of the congregation as well as “Friends of the Cathedral” who have generously given of their time, talent and treasure to help others.
Philadelphia Cathedral has established a mission outreach program called Cathedral Connections which partners with social service agencies in the community that provide vital supportive services to vulnerable populations.
Stacey Middleton, who is a member of the Cathedral congregation and who oversees the Cathedral Connections program was recently interviewed by Tracy Davidson of NBC-10 News.
Stacey has launched a ” coupon campaign” at the Cathedral which translates into significant savings in purchasing large quantities of food items which are then distributed to various agencies such as the St. Barnabas Mission and the People’s Emergency Center. that provide social services for vulnerable populations.

The Cathedral also has “in house” ministries such as its “Take Away Ministry” that offers snacks to those in need who stop by the Cathedral between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. We look forward to continuing to nurture our current partnerships and grow our outreach ministry in the coming year.
