Matthew Bengston, Piano Recital

On Tuesday, May 11 at 7 PM , critically acclaimed as a “musician’s pianist,” Matthew Bengtson will perform at Philadelphia Cathedral.
He will perform Mendelssohn’s Variations Serieuses, op. 54, Selections from Iberia by Albéniz and Chopin’s Sonata no. 3 op. 58 in B minor.
Mr. Bengston has a unique combination of musical talents ranging from extraordinary pianist, to composer, analyst, and scholar of performance practice, and thus is in demand as both soloist and collaborator.
