This service marks the Cathedral’s pre-Lenten Festival. The Mardi Gras Carnival tradition evolved as an explosive final celebration prior to beginning the solemnity and abstinence of Lent. The Cathedral adapts this theme liturgically in our own tradition.. Join us through the season of Lent, Holy Week and Easter for a diverse spiritual journey.
